A challenging brief from Lion Dairy and Drinks facilitated by AJF Partnership has seen over 130 capstone students compete for the opportunity to pitch their advertising campaign solutions in a real authentic setting. Four teams made the finals of the interstate inter-university 2018 Advertising Capstone challenge: Ignite Media, and Off Leash (UQ Business School), along with Scope and Chalk&Cheese (Swinburne). Applied research from all finalists resulted in some unique insights, a real depth of understanding of the target consumers journey, intriguing strategy, inspirational big ideas, along with some absolutely brilliant creative conceptualisations, and innovative media solutions.
In the end Scope from Swinburne University of Technology (pictured above) were the winners, so congratulations to Courtney Bree, Myles Deering (not in photo), Brenton Gardiner, Michael Jakubicki, Laura Peebles and Nada Sau - you've done us proud.
Second placed Ignite Media from UQBS made a wonderful pitch. Great work Lindelle Barrick, Katie Button, Danielle Emmerich, Nothando Mafico and Nick McCarthy.
Not forgetting the inventive and clever pitches from Off Leash (UQBS) Britaney Carmody, Clare Farrugia, Abbie Fowler, Nicholas Parnell, Andrew Walker, Jonathan Woods and Chalk&Cheese (Swinburne) Leah Hondrokostas, Daniel Jansen, Mark Lockwood, Adrian Posteraro and Ramona Warden.
